Trailer Damage Waiver

What is a Trailer Damage Waiver (TDW)?

• A cost-effective alternative to Physical Damage coverage from your insurance provider.

• A service that provides release from the responsibility to pay for loss or damage to our trailer arising from a covered collision, act of God or theft in excess of the TDW deductible.

• Our TDW is a damage waiver program and not insurance coverage. It does not cover personal injury, property damage, cargo, or other third-party liability.

What are the Benefits of TDW?

COST SAVINGS

The cost of TDW is often lower than Physical Damage, Collision, or Comprehensive coverage offered by insurance providers.

TDW rates are fixed for the term of the lease. Will your insurance provider do that? It’s worth taking the time to compare.

IMPROVED CASH FLOW

We simply invoice you monthly along with your lease charges instead of hitting you with a large annual insurance premium.

IN-HOUSE CLAIMS

Quick and easy settlement. Just pay your deductible and we handle the rest. Trailer values are always covered in full and you avoid an insurance claim and possible rate increase.

CONVENIENCE

TDW starts the day you pick up our trailer and ends the day you return it. No scheduling trailers for Physical Damage coverage or continuing to pay because you forgot to tell your insurance company you returned the trailer.

When Does TDW Apply and How Do I Make a Claim?

To make a claim, you must have selected our Trailer Damage Waiver, be current on all payments and in compliance with all lease agreement terms ad conditions. Notify R Leasing within 48 hours of the incident and provide a copy of the police report, operator's license/CDL and photos of the trailer damage and any additional information needed for R Leasing to process your claim.
